Bookworm implements age-appropriate content controls to ensure compliance with child safety regulations including COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) and to provide age-appropriate Islamic educational content.

Initial Age Collection: • Users are prompted to enter their age during account creation • Age verification occurs before profile setup • Parental consent is required for users under 13 years of age Parental Consent Modal: • Displayed automatically for users under 13 • Presented in English • Requires explicit parental acknowledgment before account activation • Includes clear disclaimers about data collection and usage
